Please visit our website DescriptionnnPosition Purpose:nnOur Operation and Maintenance Intern will work closely with our skilled Staff at their project to learn and understand what is involved with the daily operation and maintenance of a water/wastewater treatment facility.nnPrimary Duties/Responsibilities:nnThis internship position will provide hands-on experience in a wastewater environment and will involve working under the guidance of an experienced full-time employee (FTE).nnInternships are focused on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures.nnThis position involves laboratory, technical, maintenance, and groundskeeping work in the operation of a wastewater treatment facility.nnCandidates with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are encouraged to apply.nnWork Environment:nnAbility to work in a wastewater environment.nnQualificationsnnEducation/Experience/Background:nnHigh School Diploma/GED is required.nnKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:nnStrong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills / Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.nnStrong ability to follow instructions accurately.nnGood organizational and time management skills.nnWillingness to work under the guidance of an experienced FTE.nnReliable and punctual attendance.nnPhysical Requirements:nnCapability to lift objects weighing approximately 30-35 lbs.nnAdditional InformationnnWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
