Job Duties
This is a unit-based position that supervises nursing staff on one of four treatment units. Responsibilities include participation in treatment team meetings, therapeutic program activities, and ensuring delivery of patient care according to the individual treatment plans. This position acts as the point of leadership for a team of health care professionals by guiding, coaching and evaluating staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid VA drivers License
Basic Computer Knowledge
Virginia State Board Of Registered Nursing License
Additional Considerations
Considerable Psychiatric and/or geriatric experience is preferred
Med-surg nursing experience is preferred
Previous supervisory experience is preferred
Long Term Care and Nursing Home Experience is preferred
Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Electronic Health Records
