Our client, a leading environmental services provider, is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join their team. As an Environmental Compliance Manager, you will be part of the Compliance Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Title: Environmental Compliance Manager
Location: Cherry Hill, New Jersey
Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000 annually
What's the Job?
- Assess current status of compliance and develop policies and procedures to ensure and maintain company operates within all regulatory requirements.
- Establish processes and procedures to administer regulatory compliance programs.
- Prepare permit applications, modifications and renewals as required to ensure that company operates in full compliance.
- Interact with regulatory agencies for audits, reporting, tracking, etc. as required. Prepares all necessary regulatory reports.
- Review and assess all permit applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
What's Needed? - Full understanding and knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements as it pertains to transfer facilities, Part B permits, hazardous and solid waste.
- Coordinate and submit permitting applications for T&D (Transmission & Distribution) facilities by gathering and organizing raw data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines. (MUST)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, urban planning, safety management, public administration or related field preferred.
- Strong working knowledge in administrative and regulatory compliance.
- Experience coordinating with various stakeholders on multiple projects.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory environmental compliance regulations.
- Experience of creation and submittal of permits
- Up to 70% traveling
