Position Highlights:
  • Dynamic cardiology practice with a focus on preventive care
  • Robust in-house diagnostic testing, including echo, stress echo, treadmill testing, and nuclear imaging

Responsibilities:
  • Provide full-scope cardiovascular care to patients in both the outpatient clinic and inpatient settings, including noninvasive cardiac testing and cardiac stress testing
  • Perform vascular study interpretation, ECG and ambulatory ECG reporting and interpretation
  • Function as part of the Medical Group and clinical team, covering for providers who are out, working with case management, collaborating with specialists and allied health professionals to maximize health outcomes
  • Participate in marketing outreach as well as staff and patient education programs as assigned by medical group leadership
  • Participate in performance and quality improvement activities as requested
  • Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested
  • Supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as assigned
  • Provide weekday and weekend call coverage
  • All other duties as directed by management
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $370,000 - $430,000 annually.Salary range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factor including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Board certification or board eligibility in cardiology
  • Current unrestricted California medical license
  • Active, unrestricted DEA certification
Preferred but not required:
  • Pacemaker insertion
