Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our strong, collaborative team of five intensivists who provide Critical Care coverage at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy and Old Bridge Medical Center in Old Bridge, New Jersey, as one team.
  • Work alongside clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are dedicated to the practice of critical care medicine.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care. We encourage our team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and successful completion of a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Board certified/eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Jersey.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Flexible Scheduling:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical and surgical patients in an ICU within a 500-bed hospital.
  • Lead multidisciplinary rounds with participation from internal medicine residents as a fundamental part of our practice, which occurs daily with active team participation.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care. We encourage our team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.
