VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity in San Antonio, Texas.

• 24 HR shifts
• NICU Level: IV, 72 bed NICU
• Total beds: 429
• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 355
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 18
• Estimated monthly/daily Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (excludes deliveries): 253/8-9 day
• MFM onsite
• In-house Anesthesia
• Other specifics: High-Risk OB and Maternal Transport Service -close partnership w/ MFM's and Ob staff. Excellent relationships w/ nurses.
• Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage
• Hospitalists available for First Assist
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Clinical Interview Not required
