VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist Opportunity in Sayre, PA.

Program Details:

• Shifts: 24 Hours
• Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Emergency cases only
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Family Medicine or Trauma Surgery Residents
• Hospitalists to Backup Midwives
• Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Provide OBs backup as available. Working to provide 24/7 backup

Hospital Details:

• NICU Level: I (Newborn Nursery)
• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 60
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 35
• Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 150
• Residency Program - Family Medicine
• In-house Anesthesia 24/7
• Shift Changes: 7:30 AM

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
