Client Overview:

nOur client is a leading consumer goods company. Our client is seeking college students majoring in scientific fields to fill the role of Operations Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts) .n

Salary/Hourly Rate:

n $22.50/hr - $24/hr Depending on shiftn

Position Overview:

n The Operations Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts) will work with Operations and Production. The Operations Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts) are responsible for maintaining safety and environmental standards, following quality procedures, collecting data, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. The schedule is as follows: 7 am - 3:30 pm (1st  shift),  3 pm - 11:30 pm (2nd shift), and 11 pm - 7:30 am (3rd shift). The Operations Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts) will work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.n

Responsibilities of the Operations Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts):

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
n
• Uphold all quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and cleaning guidelines.
n
• Perform standard operations, quality inspections, and safety protocols.
n
• Utilize systems to enhance operations and accurately document production activities.
n
• Stay updated on team production performance through visual, written, and verbal communications.
n
• Apply continuous improvement tools and techniques to support and achieve team objectives.
n

Qualifications of the Operations Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts):

n

• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
n
• Ability to work part-time hours while maintaining academic responsibilities.
n
• Manufacturing experience is highly desired.
n
• Good computer skills and a positive attitude toward learning.
n

n

Education Requirements:

• College student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
