Robert Half is partnering with a well known brand that is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist that has worked within the apparel industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships, coordinating international shipments, streamlining supply chain processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This position is full time, with full benefits, and being offered as hybrid onsite with 3 days onsite in Carlsbad, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the flow of goods from manufacturers to our facilities, coordinating global shipments effectively.
- Monitor order prices and quantities, managing shipment receipt and inventory organization.
- Forecast demand, adapt to changes in demand, and solve problems within the supply chain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments for seamless sourcing and supplier performance.
- Validate purchase orders generated by the Demand and Supply management team.
- Enter demand plan into Supply Chain software to initiate the production schedule.
- Generate monthly reports showcasing customer support performance and improvement areas.
- Develop product availability reports for Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams..
Education and Experience:
- Experience in supply planning within the apparel, consumer goods or fashion industry.
- 2+ years in the Supply Chain profession.
- Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or CSCMP are desirable.
- Experience in ERP systems leveraging supply chain modules is beneficial.
- Ability to occasionally work hours that align with overseas supply chain team and operations.
- BA/BS degree.
