We are recruiting for the following position:nnSea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organizationnnLicensed Practical Nurse - Posting #27181nnHourly Rate: $31.63nnPosition Summary:nnFull time LPN position available for our Behavioral Health Program in Vancouver, WA. This position is part of thennCommunity Support Team, a unique community-based team that is built around providing the services that best fit each client's current needs. Travel throughout Clark County is required, must have a valid driver's license. The LPN is responsible for providing general nursing care to all patients as ordered by the patient’s provider and/or those procedures covered by current standing orders. The LPN may assist in the management of patient flow issues, patient acute illness screening, rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures and phone messages.nnDuties and Responsibilities:nnDemonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of thennpatients served.nnMaintains professional standards and follows the treatment policies and procedures of thennorganization.nnThe LPN must be familiar with sterile techniques, handling infectious cases, oxygen equipment,nnand able to handle minor emergencies.nnThe LPN is responsible for leading, collecting and performing Clinical Quality Measures fornnevery patient; this includes patients being seen in the clinic as well as outreach to patients whonnhave yet to be seen.nnDemonstrates knowledge, proficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements including,nnbut not limited to: Joint Commission, NPSG, Department of Health, Quality Measures, PCMH,nnQI and other contractual obligations.nnThe LPN is the person who is responsible for ensuring that ALL patient clinical measures arennbeing addressed and will do so by doing thorough EHR reviews, tracking and documenting allnnclinical measures/outcomes for patients in EHR.nnAble to identify and categorize each patient’s age-specific grouping of needs, such as those fornninfant, adolescent, or geriatric patients.nnPrepares exam and procedure rooms by stocking with the appropriate supplies and disinfectingnnas per established protocol.nnOther duties may be assigned as necessary.nnQualifications and or Experience:nnMust have graduated from an accredited college or university and be licensed in the State of Washington to practice as a licensed practical nurse.nnMust be qualified to administer injections/medications.nnMust have Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain this throughout employment.nnMust have completed state mandated HIV education.nnExcellent customer service skills.nnWhat We Offer:nnSea Mar offers talented and motivated people the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing community health organization.
