Summary of Need:nThe Nurse must provide nursing care with established guidelines and procedures to individuals with conditions and treatments that are non-critical. They will perform medication administration, patient assessment, follow ordered treatment plans and provide emergency care as needed. They may provide clinical supervision to paraprofessional and direct care personnel to which they are assigned. You will also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards and function as a member of a treatment team.nJob duties include, but are not limited to:nnMaintaining general medical inventory (including controlled substances).nConducting medication administration.nReview the overall health conditions (i.e. preparing, reviewing, and evaluating nursing intervention plans).nEnsuring that interventions are consistent with comprehensive treatment plans.nParticipate in staff training.nPrepare required clinical and administrative reports.nMaintain infection control standards; and serve as a member of the facility's medical treatment team.nAdditional duties to be discussed in detail during the interview.nnQualifications:nnLicensed Practical Nurse in New York State.nMinimum of one (1) or more years' experience.nHighly motivated, independent thinker and self-starter.nEnthusiastic team player.nnExcellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.nAble to manage multiple projects.nStrong follow-up and communication skills.nExcellent computer skills.nnShift: 7am to 3pm of 7am to 7pm x 1n11am to 11pm or 3pm to 11pmnWith weekends and some holidays.nContract Length: Up to 2 years.nEquiliem Healthcare specializes in staffing clinical, non-clinical, and allied personnel.
