Internal Traveler - Ortho Neuro
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
Full Time, Nights. 36 hours a week.
Pay range is between $70-$80/hr. Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer.
Boulder Community health is seeking an Internal Traveler for Ortho Neuro who functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit's care delivery system.
Contracts are 13 weeks.

Qualifications
• Colorado RN license in good standing.
• BLS required.
• ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads.
• ONC certification preferred.
• NIHSS certification required
• One to two years RN clinical nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
• Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
• Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
• Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
• Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
• Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
• Practices universal precautions appropriately.
• May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer.
• It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their department.
• Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
