Position Summary
The Recruiter will build and execute plans and programs to attract top talent in support of the broader talent acquisition strategy for the MFA’s LT mission, vision, and values. That will result in achieving the MFA’s talent acquisition goals in order to fuel MFA’s enhanced performance and growth. This includes identifying plans and approaches that deliver timely, precise execution of our sourcing and recruiting campaigns. Ultimately, the Recruiter will work in concert with the Director, Talent Acquisition to enlarge the MFA’s footprint in the healthcare provider talent market in Metro DC while working with MFA leadership to achieve "Employer of Choice" recognition for the MFA.
**This role is anticipated to last between 3 and 9 months**
**This role is 100% remote**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Support and enhance the vision, strategy, and goals for talent acquisition.
  • Work with HR leadership, MFA Department Chairs, Functional Chiefs, and Practice Group Administrators (PGA’s) to effectively lead and execute departmental recruitment plans and goals.
  • Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment means assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.)
  • Develop a recruitment strategy. This may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, university/college relationships, professional networks, etc.
  • Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization
  • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruit and source; develop talent pool or social
  • Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
  • Drive monthly/quarterly recruiting metrics (qualitative and quantitative) in collaboration with hiring managers and department leaders.
  • Influence hiring managers and MFA leaders using recruiting metrics and data.
  • May develop specialized or competitive intelligence and research in regard to talent development or retention.
  • Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and the MFA environment.
  • Participate in employment events, such as career fairs.
  • Use sophisticated applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software and HRIS system to track applicants through the selection phase through to onboarding.
  • Develop relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in technical and non-technical recruiting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk for long periods of time in an office setting.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull over 100 lbs. as part of the role.
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other equipment.
