A team of technicians report to the Maintenance Supervisor. They are also responsible for ensuring maintenance work is completed is a safe, efficient and timely manner and in compliance with environmental requirements.nnWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGnnOrganize, schedule, and oversee daily preventive/repair maintenance activities.nnSupervise, train, and develop mechanical maintenance staff to achieve the department goals in a manner to create employee ownership; create bench strength and succession plans.nnComplete records, forms, and other paperwork associated with maintenance activities: including SAP time entry, notifications, orders, etc.nnEvaluate and resolve problems affecting overall equipment efficiency.nnRecommend, initiate and approve requisitions, PM orders and other associated SAP transactions to obtain required contractor services, equipment, and supplies.nnAssist in preparing recommendations for capital expenditures.nnInterface with procurement to ensure that all supplies, parts, and materials are available when required.nnAssist in preparing annual maintenance budget and staying within that budget.nnEnsure that employees observe safe work practices and perform work assignments within MSHA and company safety guidelines.nnCoordinate maintenance work with other departments to enhance overall equipment efficiency and maximum production.nnOther duties as assigned.nnWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORnnEducation: Associate's degreennAdditional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degreennField of Study Preferred: Industrial MaintenancennRequired Work Experience: 5 years heavy mechanical maintenance experience.nnRequired Computer and Software Skills: Comprehensive computer software knowledge required, including Excel, Word, Project, Auto CAD, SAP, etc. is preferred.nnTravel Requirements: MinimalnnAdditional Requirements:nnDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
