LPN Positions Full and Part time 8hour or 12-hour shifts LPN Supervisor positions- Pay rate: $32.00 plus a $3.00 shift differential LPN Weekend Warrior positions Rate is depending on years of experience, benefit selection and position. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work closely with RNs to ensure the best possible functions of assigned units and supervise unit employees
- Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
- Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the department
- Responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our residents and their families
- Support nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed at all times while also making suggestions for improvements
- Provides information to Residents and health care team.
- Maintains documentation of Resident care services.
- Performs other position-related duties as assigned, such as passing meds if needed, depending on the assignment setting/needs of the building
REQUIREMENTS: - Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current and valid license as a LPN in the state of New York required
- A minimum of 1-year LPN/supervisory experience required
- Must have strong assessment skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
- Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
- Strong customer service skills and compassion
- Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred
- Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
