Responsibilities : - Responsible for purchasing materials and goods from overseas suppliers according to standard firm policies and procedures
- Prepare and create Purchase orders making sure to verify specifications and details
- Update and maintain pricing histories and review production scheduling to maintain efficiency
- Work with vendors to negotiate volume, price and production specifications
- Process vendor samples for production and trial needs
- Facilitate all stages and process regarding project and product development
- Collaborate and interact with multiple departments including production, quality control, engineering, planning and supply chain
- Communicate daily with overseas suppliers in China and Taiwan and their operations
- Utilize ERP system and database to enter, save and retrieve product details
- Analyze market trends and formulate purchasing strategies
Requirements: - Strong Interpersonal, Analytical, Organizational and Communication skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of Purchasing experience from an industrial manufacturing background
- Ability to understand raw material applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP and Inventory systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings (2D and 3D)
- Familiarity with Import/Export Procedures from overseas suppliers
- Bilingual: English & Mandarin Chinese verbal and written
- Project Management skills preferred
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
