Our art-handling expertise has earned the trust of artists, collectors, dealers, galleries, and museums worldwide for four decades.nnTo that end, our Art Handler DrivingSpecialists are responsible for ensuring safety and integrity in packing, crating, and transporting artworks to and from museums across the world, regional art galleries, and private venues. In addition to physical requirements, this role also provides leadership and guidance during projects while acting as a liaison between clients and company managers.nnRESPONSIBILITIES:nnHandle and move artworks, including wrapping, packing, and crating using appropriatennInstall/de-install artworks during onsite projects using proper techniques and toolsnnAssist on rigging/heavy object movement with Gantry/Forklift/Crane or other specialized equipmentnnLoad/unload trucks to ensure safe transitnnPlan the organization and packing of trucks to ensure utmost safety of objectsnnConduct inspection reports for various types of art objectsnnLead a team, providing guidance and coaching during projectsnnAct as liaison while onsite between clients and company managementnnDetermine strategy for projects, particularly when senior staff are not onsitennSafely operate company vehicle; transport art to their destinationsnnPerform all required truck inspectionsnnQUALIFICATIONS:nnMinimum: high school diploma. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.nn2 + years experience within the fine arts transportation or specialized removals industrynnIndustry-standard packing, crating, and installation techniques and materialsnnExperienced in operation of Gantry and Rigging equipmentnnSpeak effectively to clients and coworkersnnStrong attention to detail, discretion, and follow-throughnnTeam player, with the ability to lead and effectively communicate instructions.
