Job Description
Purpose
To warehouse, locate (using locator computers to scan pallets) and transport raw materials and product throughout the facility as needed to ensure production departments have what is needed to produce product and to load and unload trucks.
Knowledge Requirements
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work with and interact effectively and professionally with coworkers in a team environment
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Must be able to read, understand and stay current with all department work instructions and procedures
  • Good organizational skills
Education/Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience driving a fork truck.
Essential Physical Requirements
  • Constant sitting
  • Minimal standing
  • Occasional walking
  • Frequent foot use
  • Occasional below waist level work
  • Occasional climbing, balancing and pushing/pulling
  • Minimal carrying
  • Occasionally lifts up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional reaching over 15" away from body and fine motor
  • Must have good vision, hearing and use of both hands
  • Exposed to full body vibration
  • Must be able to speak to respond to requests via two-way radio

  • Must be able to maintain regular attendance
