As an Environmental Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to our clients in various environmental and energy-related matters. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to deliver exceptional legal services. Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in environmental and energy-related matters, including litigation, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters. Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and provide legal advice. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts. Represent clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and other legal proceedings. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to deliver exceptional legal services to clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental and energy-related laws and regulations. Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the North Carolina State Bar. 2 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on environmental and energy-related matters. Judicial clerkship experience preferred. Strong litigation skills, including experience representing clients in court and administrative proceedings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients and stakeholders. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and analyze legal issues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Passion for environmental and energy-related issues and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to clients.
