Cheven Keely & Hatzis is seeking to hire an Associate Attorney in our Wall Street office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end, under partner supervision;
- Drafting pleadings, written discovery and motions;
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions; and
- Communicate with clients and draft status reports.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school;
- Admitted to practice in New York
- Knowledge of insurance defense, including New York Labor Law, products liability, environmental, construction defect, and premises liability;
- Superior research, analytical and organizational skills; and
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
