Position Summary

Responsible for managing production scheduling and planning for the organization. Ensures operations are efficient, deadlines are met, and resources are allocated to meet production goals.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintaining detailed project schedules for numerous projects by aligning production schedules with customer deadlines.
• Collaborate with PM’s, management, and production staff to adjust schedules.
• Anticipate delays by closing working with estimating team to ensure the availability of resources, labor, equipment, and contractors to meet deadlines.
• Analyze schedule performance, identify potential delays and recommend corrective action.
• Maintain communication with customers on progress of projects and inform of delays.
• Mitigate risk by identifying potential challenges that may impact schedules; develop contingency plans to minimize delays and ensure project progress.
• Create and maintain master schedule to regularly track project milestones and progress against the schedule.
• Manage reports and import/export project data to systems.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 or more years’ experience production planning, scheduling, or similar role withing fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems for scheduling and MS Office.
• Understanding of industrial structural fabrication processes and planning principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
