*This position is open to multiple U.S. locations. Preferably near a U.S. HW Kaufman office location.*
Responsible for assisting a team of underwriters with Excess & Surplus Lines (E&S) Casualty business on a brokerage basis via a nationwide network of wholesale brokers.
Responsibilities:

- Assist and support underwriters with new and renewal business including rating, form selection, binding, policy issuance and invoicing
- Quality control of various documents including quotes, policies, endorsements, cancellations and invoices
- Handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment, maintaining excellence service standards
- Deliver high quality service to wholesale broker customers
- Learn the underwriting process and appetite and assist underwriters with new business, endorsement and renewal underwriting
- Evaluate submission, renewal and inspection information as part of the underwriting process
- In conjunction with underwriters, work closely with wholesale brokers to develop relationships and enhance their understanding of the Company’s Underwriting rationale, philosophy and criteria
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of Property & Casualty underwriting support experience
- Underwriting support in Excess and Surplus lines environment strongly preferred
- Proficient in policy and workflow insurance applications
- High energy and desire to learn
