A Quantamental Macro pod on a large multi-manager platform is hiring for a Senior Macro Analyst. This pod is led by two former leaders from one of the biggest brands in buy-side finance, who have branched out to gain more autonomy.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Macro Analyst/Strategist, you will work closely with the Strategy PM/CIO and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing fully systematic macro trading strategies across large, liquid developed markets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Constructing and refining macroeconomic estimates.
• Generating new systematic trading strategies across macro assets.
• Researching innovative techniques for the construction and optimization of investment trading signals and portfolio construction/risk management processes.
• Independently owning and overseeing critical areas of investment research and processes.
• Developing research hypotheses for presentation to the PM, senior firm management, and investors.

Key Qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in a relevant role with demonstrated trading success in macro markets.
• Exceptional understanding of macroeconomics and macro trading strategies.
• Experience in building systematic investment strategies and macroeconomic estimates/nowcasts.
• Proficiency with macroeconomic data and complexities.
• Familiarity with C#, C++, Python, advanced Excel, and VBA.
