Job Description

Seeking a dynamic and skilled Manufacturing and Logistics Manager to lead our manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations. This pivotal role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in manufacturing within the medical device industry, a commitment to quality and efficiency, and a strong focus on team development and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will drive our production processes to consistently meet targets, uphold high standards, and optimize performance across the board.


Overview of Specific Skills:

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations including developing and implementing strategies to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet customer demands.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the manufacturing and warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, storing, and shipping products and coordination of transportation providers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles, manage budgets and allocate resources.
  • Identify and facilitate professional development of team members.


Required Education, Skills & Personal Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing management or operations, preferably in medical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards, ISO13485 and FDA CFR 21 part 820, Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in manufacturing software and tools such as SAP, ORACLE, Dynamics365, and in MS Office applications.
  • Enthusiastic, goal-oriented self starter with team management and mentoring experience and skills.
  • Proven ability in leading quality systems implementation and continuous improvement across the organization.
