Medical Director/Senior Director of Clinical Development - San Diego

I am currently searching for a Consultant/Interim/Contract Medical Director/Senior Director of Clinical Development for an innovative, San Diego-based Cell Therapy company. This person would ideally be based in San Diego but remote candidates will be considered if they could do monthly travel.

The ideal candidate will lead the clinical development strategy and design Phase 1 clinical trials.

Key Requirements:

-MD qualified (Board Certified preferred)

-Experience in clinical Phase 1 biotech (ideally first-in-human trials)

-Expertise in rheumatology and autoimmune therapeutics

Candidates with Cell Therapy experience will be viewed favorably.
