About the Role - The Senior Analyst will help tackle the dynamic challenges of fraud in the payments industry. You will work closely with teams and clients spanning data science, loss prevention, product management, technology, and engineering to craft and implement robust risk control solutions tailored to diverse industries and payment systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee risk management initiatives for multiple clients by monitoring and interpreting consumer transaction data to detect potential threats.
- Apply statistical analysis techniques to diverse data sets, uncovering trends and correlations to inform decision-making.
- Partner with data scientists and fraud investigators to identify fraud patterns and integrate real-time insights into predictive models.
- Evaluate and recommend risk control strategies and fraud prevention measures based on thorough data analysis.
- Design, implement, and refine risk control strategies, ensuring they meet key performance metrics and deliver measurable results.
- Track and predict client performance metrics, such as acceptance rates and loss ratios, to optimize risk management efforts.
- Present performance insights and trends to management teams and clients, fostering data-driven decision-making.
- Share knowledge of fraud trends, best practices, and innovative ideas with colleagues and leadership.
- Create detailed fraud dashboards to provide executives, clients, and partners with actionable insights and updates.
Qualifications
- Exceptional analytical abilities, with a talent for identifying hidden patterns and trends within large, complex data sets
- Experience in the payments industry in an analytical role
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related quantitative discipline
- 4+ years of financial analysis experience
