Our client, one of the largest publicly traded owners and operators of open-air, grocery-anchored shopping centers and mixed-used assets is seeking an experienced retail Real Estate Attorney with an emphasis on leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions . The position involves the drafting and negotiation of related legal documents associated with the ownership, management, and operation of retail and mixed-use centers along with research and analysis of legal issues.

This individual will report to the Regional General Counsel for the Region and will work with other associates including senior management, other members of the in-house legal department as well as outside counsel.

MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT RETAIL LEASING AND LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE TO EVEN BE CONSIDERED!!!

Requirements:

• Significant (at least 5+ years) commercial real estate law experience, with an emphasis on retail leasing, acquisitions, and/or sales of shopping centers
• Experience in corporate matters a plus
• Experience in joint venture matters a plus
• Ability to efficiently manage efforts of outside counsel
• Demonstrated PC skills with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with Salesforce, Conga, DocuSign, and document management systems a plus.
• Must be admitted to the bar

The expected salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $180,000 plus bonus and equity.
