Job Title: Training Manager

Client Location: Dallas, TX - REMOTE

Salary/Pay Rate: $34.60 to $38.45/hour

Duration: 6 months (may extend)

As a key member of our client’s Knowledge Management & Training Team, the Training Manager oversees the implementation of training offerings, including strategy and execution, systems, policy and procedures, employee experience, and training culture. The Training Manager will provide direction and support of various logistical activities regarding the delivery of training activities, ensuring all training content is updated, created, and followed. This position will work closely with Talent Management and other business partners throughout training strategy and implementation to ensure business objectives are met. This role is responsible for overseeing an ongoing effective and inclusive learning environment and learner experience, both face-to-face and virtually.


What you’ll do: • Show mastery of facilitation techniques across L&D programs.

• Demonstrate exceptional curriculum development and presentation skills.

• Maintain a risk-centered environment that adheres to policies and procedures.

• Onboarding Program Management: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires. Ensure each program is tailored to the specific needs of different roles within the company.

• Utilize management resources to help drive accountability and identify any risks to the training program.

• Conduct interactive workshops and focus sessions with stakeholders and training participants to optimize training content including onboarding, technical, compliance, and leadership training.

• Create engaging and interactive training content, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, webinars, and virtual training sessions. Ensure training materials are up-to-date and aligned with best practices.

• Create a collaborative and engaged team environment where knowledge sharing is valued and encouraged.

• Evaluate and improve processes and ensure consistency throughout training offerings. Leverage analytics to identify, capture, and interpret data for coaching and program enhancements.

• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify problems and opportunities, lead initiatives, discuss challenging issues, and learn more about critical issues as a group; is sought out for counsel and feedback from senior leaders.

• Partner with HR, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training priorities, align training initiatives with business objectives, and ensure training programs meet organizational needs.

• Display confidence and courage in business decisions with a demonstrated ability to take decisive action when needed; seeks and welcomes feedback.


What you have: • 5+ years of professional experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, advanced degree preferred

• Exceptional communication skills (written and oral), with strong attention to detail and the ability to develop clear, concise, and cohesive content

• Demonstrated ability to apply effective strategic thinking via typical deliverables

• Outcome-oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver the most effective solution possible within time, budget, or resourcing constraints

• Demonstrated record as a self-starter and fast learner with business and technical acumen

• Strong problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to work promptly and flexibly in response to changing priorities

• Strong analytic skills with the ability to quickly analyze data to identify key insights and implications for business decisions

• Strong influencing skills/ability to build credibility with stakeholders, lead meetings, and drive action

• Strong and demonstrated project management skills with the ability to see things through from concept to implementation, with previous experience in managing complex projects

• Strong orientation to employees, including ability to understand needs and apply this understanding to training enhancements, user experience, and communication content

• Experience with leading and/or supporting large, cross-functional teams of individuals at varied levels with varied skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, etc.)


Pluses include: • Familiarity with DAFs, our client, and/or their associated services

• Proficiency/expertise in Articulate 360 or other curriculum development software

• Pub experience

• Passion and experience with learning and development best practices and emerging trends


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $34.60 to $38.45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
