Job Description:

We are looking for a Law and Motion Attorney with experience or a strong interest in mesothelioma cases. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our litigation team and contribute to high-impact cases within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, file, and argue motions in both state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist in developing case strategies and legal arguments.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to manage cases efficiently.
• Attend court hearings and trial proceedings as needed.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to advance case objectives.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all case-related activities.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in law and motion practice, preferably in mesothelioma or asbestos-related cases.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using legal research and case management software.
