Plant General Manager – High-Volume Manufacturing Facility

We’re seeking a seasoned leader to take charge of our largest and most dynamic manufacturing plant. This high-volume facility requires a Plant General Manager with a proven ability to manage large-scale operations, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and inspire a diverse workforce to achieve exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing manufacturing plants with 300+ employees, a strong track record of cultivating high-performance cultures, and the leadership skills necessary to align teams around strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Culture Development: Build and lead a diverse, high-performing workforce by fostering an inclusive, safety-first environment that drives employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Implement Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, leveraging Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, enhance production efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Safety Leadership: Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring all health and safety standards are met or exceeded across the plant.
• Strategic Financial Management: Oversee P&L performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Performance Reporting: Develop and deliver detailed operational reports to senior leadership, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and improvement plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years’ plant leadership experience managing large, high-volume manufacturing facilities with 300+ employees.
• Demonstrated success in fostering an engaged, high-performance culture within a diverse workforce.
• Proven expertise in implementing CI initiatives and Six Sigma practices.
• Strong background in P&L management, driving profitability and operational efficiency.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a history of managing complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
