We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to develop engaging and effective technical equipment and operations training for field technicians. This role requires a proactive professional capable of managing the course development process from start to finish while adhering to established timelines and standards. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and a talented team of instructional designers, led by a senior instructional designer and a project manager.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive training courses for field technicians, ensuring interactivity levels of 2+ or 3.
- Serve as the steward for courses, ensuring successful completion from inception to delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather content and ensure alignment with objectives.
- Follow established instructional design processes and standards.
- Participate in a peer review process to refine and enhance course quality.
- Manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality courses.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in instructional design, with a focus on technical equipment/maintenance training development.
- Proficiency and ownership of an Articulate 360 license (you will be mostly using Storyline), Canva, and SnagIt
- Familiarity with AI voiceover, Copilot and Airtable strongly preferred
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to adhere to defined timelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in creating interactive and engaging eLearning content.

The pay range is $55 to $63 per hour W2. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
