Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Production Team Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in ensuring that customer product orders are met with precision, while adhering to all regulatory, safety, and company standards. This key role combines leadership, process optimization, and hands-on operational support to maintain high production quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish Required)
  • Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team to ensure consistent productivity, efficiency, and excellence in all tasks. Provide regular performance feedback and clearly assign duties to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Continuously assess and improve departmental policies, processes, and inventory management to enhance overall operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze and monitor production, freezing, packaging, and shipping data to meet performance goals and ensure that process controls are effectively maintained.
  • Enforce compliance with sanitation, food safety regulations, and company policies, ensuring hourly employees follow guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the safety team to identify potential hazards, implement corrective actions, and provide ongoing safety training to ensure a safe and productive workplace.
  • Participate in investigating accidents and injuries, preparing the necessary documentation, and providing critical materials for review.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize high-speed industrial machinery and equipment to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment during shifts, adhering to both weekly and master sanitation schedules to maintain top-notch standards.
  • Participate in food safety team inspections and contribute to maintaining exceptional food safety standards across operations.


Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • 2+ years of experience in production supervision, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of chemical control procedures, including titration (chemical concentration) and cleaning system monitoring.
  • Expertise in ingredient formulations, percentages, and their functionality during the mixing process.
  • Basic math proficiency for calculations and measurements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and resolve competing demands effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work confidently with industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Comfortable working in extreme temperatures, ranging from -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage, while wearing appropriate PPE and freezer gear.
  • Capable of working in environments with variable noise levels, which may be quite loud at times.
  • Flexible with work schedules, including weekends and extended shifts as needed.
