About the Position:

Our client, a highly-regarded, midsize Chicago law firm, is actively seeking a real estate lawyer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join as a senior associate or junior partner in its established and sophisticated real estate practice group. This firm’s thriving, top-tier real estate practice represents a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, REITs and private developers.

Responsibilities:

· Represent clients on the acquisition, development, financing, and leasing of various types of commercial real estate properties

Required Qualifications:

· 5 to 7 years of commercial real estate transactions experience, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, and leasing

· Real estate experience related to development and construction, asset management, and joint venture work are a plus

· Excellent academic credentials

· Large law firm experience preferred
