Job Title : Estimator – High-End Residential Interiors

Location : New York City, United States

Industry: Construction / Residential Interiors

Salary : Up to $200,000


Description :

A highly regarded general contractor with over 30 years of experience in high-end residential interiors is seeking an Estimator to join the team. This role focuses on luxury single-family residential interiors, with occasional work on commercial lobbies and hallways. Projects range from $300k to $10M, with an emphasis on larger, bespoke renovations.

This position is full-time and office-based in New York City, with shorter Friday afternoons and potential for one remote day if necessary.


Responsibilities :

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for high-end residential interior projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to secure pricing and manage the bid process.
  • Ensure budgets align with project requirements while maintaining quality and client expectations.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and building relationships with stakeholders.


Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience estimating high-end/luxury residential interiors in New York City.
  • Background working with general contractors on residential projects (single-family homes).
  • Knowledge of local trades, materials, and subcontractor networks specific to high-end interiors.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated longevity in past roles, with a stable career history.
