Our client, an American retailer that owns and operates four well-known clothing brands is hiring a Product Development Assistant to join their product development team in New York, NY!

This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of all technical documentation related to the product, specifically within the bill of materials. You will support the supply chain and procurement processes by tracking each phase, from prototyping to production, in our systems.

This is an entry-level position The ideal candidate will have a degree in fashion or 1 year of retail product development experience.

Job Description:

• Responsible for BOM data entry and management throughout the product development cycle
• Support BOM development and execution in partnership with Design partners
• Detailed oriented with high competency surrounding data input accuracy
• Work flow management based on prioritization of deadlines
• PLM system knowledge
• Keen time management to hit agreed upon timelines & deadlines
• Proactive communicator & collaborative

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in fashion or retail
• NY based and required in office
• Internship or 1+ years of experience in clothing production
• Knowledge of PLM system or bill of materials (BOM) - highly preferred!
