TOWA, the new Kaiseki-Inspired Japanese restaurant from HAND Hospitality Group is looking for a Sushi Chef who is a self-driven talent to join our hospitality team! We are confident we can help you reach your full potential with those traits.
Responsibilities
Preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice, chopping, slicing, and filleting various kinds of fish, and placing orders for supplies as needed. Other operational duties and responsibilities are assigned, as needed accordingly.
Qualification
- 3+ years of working as a Sushi Chef (Japanese restaurant experience is a BIG PLUS)
- Excellent verbal communication and organization skills with a high level of professionalism
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Must be able to follow all safety, health, and sanitation procedures
Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds at a time on a regular basis
Responsibilities
Preparing for services such as preparing fish, rice, vegetables, and sauces
Monitor product freshness and rotate products
