Job Description

Opening Team for New Restaurant in Highland Park Village, Dallas

Qualities & Skills Required:

- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie/Line Cook or similar role in a high-end restaurant

-  Culinary degree or equivalent training

-  Deep understanding of French cuisine and a passion for culinary innovation

-  Strong organizational and leadership skills

-  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment

-    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 

- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends. 

- Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction. 

- Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure. 

-Able to move and life up to 10 pounds, frequently move and /or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or life up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces.

Responsibilities:

Culinary Expertise:

-    Execute and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes in accordance with the Crenn's culinary standards.

-  Ensure consistency and precision in all aspects of food production, adhering to the restaurant's unique style and vision. 

- Prepare menu items according to the prescribed recipes and/or special requests. 

Team Collaboration: 

-    Collaborate closely with the culinary team, including sous chefs and other chefs de partie, to maintain a

harmonious and efficient kitchen environment.

-  Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive and constructive team atmosphere.

Station Management:

-  Take ownership of a specific kitchen station, managing and organizing it to ensure smooth service during peak

hours.

-  Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on techniques, recipes, and standards.

Quality Control:

-    Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

-  Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring the use of fresh and premium ingredients.


Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
