NEW GRADS WELCOME!!nnKey Responsibilities:nnConduct comprehensive nursing assessments upon client admission.nnSafely administer and oversee medications according to detox protocols, preventing medication errors and ensuring drug interactions are monitored.nnMaintain accurate medical health records in compliance with DPH, CARF, TJC, ASAM, OSHA, and facility standards.nnMonitor and manage withdrawal symptoms, providing immediate care as necessary.nnRecognize and respond to emerging medical or psychiatric complications, working closely with MD/APRN and the multi-disciplinary team.nnProvide day-to-day care, addressing any health situations that arise during detox.nnAttend all clinical and treatment meetings to ensure comprehensive care.nnQualifications:nnAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.nnActive CT Registered Nurse license required.nnExperience working with medical and psychiatric populations preferred.nnAt least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health preferred.nnStrong computer skills, including EMR, email, and Microsoft Office.nnKnowledge and awareness of withdrawal symptoms and detox protocols.nnAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.nnCompetitive hourly rates with shift differentials based on experience, education, and scope of responsibilities.nn*Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
