Cassia is seeking an LPN to work as an Assisted Living Reimbursement Specialist at our Corporate Office in Edina, MN! In this role, you will ensure that cares match reimbursement rates for Assisted Living residents on waivered programs (EW, CADI, BI, etc) as well as private pay rates cover costs to provide care.nnThis is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position. This position is based at our Corporate Office and will require some travel to our different sites. Out of state traveling will only be a couple times per year at most. For your commitment, we will pay you a $5,000 bonus! (bonus payout will be discussed in the interview)nnPay: $34 to $37 / hour depending on experience.nnAssisted Living Reimbursement Specialist Responsibilities:nnAssist site staff in developing 24-hr CL tool for all incoming admissions on waivers as well as current residents coming onto waivers to ensure services are fully maximized in the tool.nnReview on a scheduled, regular and on-going basis waivered residents services and CL tool to ensure any changes to services/care plan are represented on resident’s CL tool.nnAssist site staff to ensure all waiver information is appropriately reflected and uploaded into Eldermark and information is kept up-to-date.nnWork with resident’s county case managers to ensure changes in condition of waivered residents are communicated and new CL tools updated.nnWork with resident’s county case managers to ensure that annual CL tools are completed annually, with changes in condition (including post-hospitalization if changes occur)nnWork with site staff to ensure that any changes to CL tools are communicated and updated in Eldermark.nnWork closely with Cassia A/R department to ensure all changes are captured and billed appropriately.nnRegularly train site nursing and administrative staff on waivered practices and protocols and their role in the process.nnAssist site teams to ensure private pay resident cares match billing.nnReview private pay pricing covers costs to provide care and make recommendations where there are pricing gaps.nnPerform additional tasks as requested.nnAssisted Living Reimbursement Specialist Requirements:nnLPN licensure in MN and in good standing.nnExperience working with waivers in the Assisted Living sphere are preferred.nnMust have one year of billing education or experience.nnFamiliar with Medical Assistance/EW programs and systems.nnAble to maintain an organized schedule of workload set forth by the supervisor.nnAble to ensure that all office equipment is in good operating order.nnAble to maintain confidential information.nnAble to communicate ideas effectively.nnConveys a positive attitude towards safety and loss control areas.nnAble to type data/transactions.nnFamiliar with English composition, rules of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.nnAble to use a computer and to learn various software applications.nnFamiliar with accounting/bookkeeping functions.nnIs a self-motivator and able to work under pressure with interruptions.nnBenefits:nnCompetitive wages with credit for experiencennTuition Discount Opportunities/ Scholarships/ Student Loan Forgiveness (site specific, ask for details)nnPaid Time Off (PTO)nn403(b) with employer matchnnHealthcare, dental, health savings, vision, life, disability, & flex spending options for Full-Time employeesnnEmployer paid Basic Life Insurance for Full-Time EmployeesnnEmployee Discount ProgramnnLongevity Recognition, Paid Volunteer Time, and Mentorship ProgramsnnCollaborative and Inclusive Work CulturennEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family membersnnLocation: Cassia's Home Office is located in the Metro Area.
