Insight Global is looking for two Warehouse Associates to join our client local to Surrey, BC, on a contract basis. This opportunity will require you to work on-site, 5-days per week Monday to Friday. The successful candidate should have 1-to-3-years of experience working within shipping and receiving, in addition to experience with inventory. You will also be communicating with customers and drivers to ensure proper documents are handed off and received, in addition to items. Regular inventory audits will also be conducted within this role, in addition to ensuring the labels and categorization of products is in line for easy identification and access. You will need to pick order and load them into trucks to be delivered weighing up to 50lbs. Strong attention to detail and communication is necessary for this role. Systems used in this role will be the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Must Haves

·Operate a forklift, handle shipping and receiving activities, and move materials within the warehouse.

·Receive incoming cargo and unload trucks/containers with equipment such as hand tools, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

·Prepare equipment for outgoing orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

·Assist with inventory management and updating inventory records.

Plusses

• Manufacturing background is an asset.
• Experience with shipping to Canada/USA is an asset.
• Preferred Forklift Certified and OSHA certified.
