Overview

We’re seeking a skilled SolidWorks Draftsperson to join our team and contribute to the design and production of high-quality trailers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics that support production.

Responsibilities

• Design & Drafting:  Create and prepare production drawings and cultists for trailers using SolidWorks and Excel.
• Model Maintenance:  Maintain existing models, updating designs as necessary to improve product quality and meet evolving requirements.
• Peer Review:  Conduct peer reviews of new models and drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Innovation & Collaboration:  Work closely with the production team to design and innovate new products that align with our high standards.

Other duties as required. We’re a small team that jumps in to help out where needed.

Skills

• Attention to Detail:  Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all designs and drawings.
• Organizational Skills:  Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, keeping work well-organized and efficient.
• Creativity & Teamwork:  Capable of creative thinking and collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Technical Skills:  Proficiency in computer operations, with knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SolidWorks.

Education:

• Drafting diploma or equivalent experience with SolidWorks.
• Willing to train the right applicant.
