2 Billion dollar company is looking for an EHS Manager for one of its plants near Brant, Ontario

Responsibilities:

• The employee will be the EHS Manager for the entire plant.
• Will work closely with the Plant and Maintenance Managers to ensure a safe work place. This is a hands on position in a manufacturing site so you must be experienced in a similar environment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA and environmental requirements.
• Works to ensure high levels of safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelors degree.
• Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Must have a proven track record of plant improvement and creating employee engagement.
• Organization skills are important to effectively manage the wide range of responsibilities. The employee must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in person and in writing.
