Description
The Field Training Specialist is a role that liaises between franchisees and the corporate training team to lead the new store opening process. This role provides essential training and support to franchisees to help them decrease time to profitability and ensure brand standards. The Field Training Specialist lays the groundwork for the future relationship between franchisees and their designated Franchise Business Consultant (FBC). The Field Training Specialist plays a key role in profitability and success of new store openings.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the new store opening process, from setup and organization through soft and grand opening schedule
- Support franchisees in training store employees, creating an “Amazing” customer service experience
- Execute all field training initiatives, including facilitating in-store training and providing follow-up training support
- Reinforce brand standards based on in-store observations; partner with FBC and franchisees on timely resolution of compliance issues
- Liaise with franchisees and Marketing to develop and implement suitable local marketing initiatives
- Communicate opportunities, successes, and feedback to franchisees, FBC, and internal leadership as necessary
- Establish a positive relationship with franchisees and corporate support teams
- Work to continually improve training program to become more efficient and effective
- Foster effective relationships with franchisees in a manner that minimizes joint employer liability
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of franchise principles and business operations
- Experience leading training for individuals and groups
- Experience creating and enhancing training programs
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 75-100% of the time
- A minimum of 3 years’ QSR experience or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
