About the Role:

Top client seeking an engineer with PLC and Robotic experience . Tired of high travel and jumping from city to city? Here's a great opportunity for an onsite role at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, SC

Responsibilities:

• Provides plant support for software, PLCs, robotic options, and process improvements.
• Enhances production processes using robotic products.
• Gains expertise in customer-specific applications and technical packages.
• Leads by example and trains new robotics service team members.
• Assists customers and internal staff with troubleshooting and repairing robotic equipment.
• Completes paperwork (timesheets, expense reports, project proposals) accurately and promptly.
• Continuously improves skills and product knowledge with guidance from the Service Manager or supervisors.
• Identifies training needs and keeps updated on industry benchmarks and technological changes.
• Creates and maintains backups of all software and configuration changes, providing copies to both the customer and service files.
• Provides on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Customer Service team members.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of PLCs and Industrial Robotics
• Ability to program and troubleshoot PLCS
• Ability to program and troubleshoot Industrial Robots
