**Job Title: Forklift Operator (Day Shift)****Job Description**We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team for the day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of forklifts, assisting with various tasks such as loading and unloading trailers, supporting roll cutters, and maintaining accurate records. If you have 2+ years of forklift experience and are keen on working in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.**Responsibilities**+ Complete daily pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report (or VCR).+ Load and unload trailers, rail cars, and containers.+ Support roll cutter by supplying and emptying totes as needed.+ Assist with roll splitting, sorting, deboxing, shredding, and receiving.+ Complete load sheet to accurately record grades, bale count, and loading start/stop times for outbound shipments.+ Assist with basic material grading.+ Complete and submit load sheet at the completion of shipment.+ Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedures.+ Understand and follow load patterns according to trailer, railcar, bale size, and weight variables.+ Assist with removing finished bales and storing them in the proper location.+ Complete daily, weekly, and monthly PMs for all certified mobile equipment.+ Perform other duties as assigned.**Essential Skills**+ Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.+ Experience in loading and unloading trailers and rail cars.+ Ability to complete maintenance inspection reports accurately.+ Basic material grading skills.+ Ability to follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Must have 2+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.+ Experience in loading rail cars is a plus.+ Bilingual abilities are highly desirable.+ Housekeeping duties such as cleaning are required.+ Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.**Why Work Here?**We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where safety and teamwork are paramount. Employees must be open to working up to 10-hour days. Attire includes face masks, steel-toed shoes, plain t-shirts, and full pants/work jeans on the first day.
