The exciting new Dome at Hi-Lawn, located on the Rooftop at Union Market , is a 50-foot sphere displaying an overhead projected experience like no other!
Heated and designed for the Winter season, “ Snowglow ” is a wintry forest-meets-chic après ski visual journey while enjoying chef-driven food and craft cocktails. The 60-seat dome is outfitted with cozy and inviting spaces for guests to eat, drink and take in the overhead projected experience.
We are looking for professionals to join the team in providing high-end hospitality for guests while they enjoy this awe-inspiring experience.
As the Lead Line Cook, you will lead the culinary operations, ensuring a seamless kitchen workflow, enforcing health and safety standards, and fostering an inspiring team environment. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef to uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and execution in a fast-paced, upscale setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring effective team performance, collaboration, and adherence to policies.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation guidelines, and health regulations, creating a safe and clean kitchen environment.
- Inventory & Ordering: Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and oversee ordering to ensure efficiency and minimize waste.
- Quality Control: Maintain consistent food quality by monitoring presentation standards and portion control to deliver a memorable culinary experience for every guest.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in advanced cooking techniques with a focus on consistency, quality, and execution in a high-paced, upscale kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment with a passion for quality and precision.
- Demonstrated expertise in health and safety standards and commitment to upholding a safe kitchen environment.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage a dynamic kitchen setting effectively.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.
