### **Job Overview:**
The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes according to our restaurant’s recipes and standards. You will ensure that meals are prepared quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, omelets, bacon, sausages, etc.
- Ensure all dishes are made to order and served within the allotted time frame.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure standards are met.
- Assist with prep work for the next shift.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Ensure that kitchen equipment is clean and in proper working order.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
### **Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a breakfast cook or in a similar role.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of various breakfast dishes and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
### **Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
