Position OverviewnnPower your future with Qualus in our Specialized Field Services department as a Field Service Technicians II. As a Field Service Technician II you responsibilities include performing testing, maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and other electrical apparatus in the shop and in the field.nnResponsibilitiesnnPerforming testing on low and medium voltage breakers including Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, and Timing tests.nnCompleting mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacement.nnWiring circuit breakers.nnUtilizing and accurately reading test equipment.nnReading schematics and wiring drawings.nnTroubleshooting circuit breaker controls.nnReading and plotting time-current curves.nnTesting transformers, including Power Factor and TTR.nnAccurately and consistently documenting using Power DB.nnAble to work with electrical tools and socket sets.nnQualificationsnn1-5 years’ related experience in commercial and industrial maintenancennMinimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems testingnnAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables.nnAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plain and solid geometry and trigonometry.
