Cyber Security Engineer I, plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and
navailability of our clients' networks and information assets. This position requires a high level of
naccuracy, professionalism, and technical proficiency within in the engineering department. This
nrole requires a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and methodologies to protect
nsystems and data against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Security Assessment and Monitoring:
n
n- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address potential security weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
n- Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
n
n
Security Implementation and Configuration:
n
n- Assist in the design, implementation, and configuration of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption tools, and access controls.
n- Ensure that security measures are effectively integrated into the architecture and operation of IT systems.
n
n
Incident Response and Forensics:
n
n- Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate security breaches, malware infections, and other cyber incidents.
n- Conduct digital forensics analysis to determine the root cause of incidents and recommend remediation measures to prevent recurrence.
n
n
Policy Development and Compliance:
n
n- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
n- Ensure compliance with applicable security frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
n
n
Security Awareness and Training:
n
n- Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees and end users to promote good security practices and mitigate human-related risks.
n- Create educational materials and resources to support ongoing security awareness initiatives.
n
n

Qualifications:
Qualifications
n
n- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
n- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GIAC.
n- 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with hands-on experience in security assessment, monitoring, and incident response.
n- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network security appliances.
n- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing environments.
n- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
n- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with clients and stakeholders.
