The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for the design, operation, security, and day to day maintenance of Public and Private Cloud environments including networking, compute, storage, backup, and identity. The Senior Cloud Engineer role includes installing, configuring and upgrading a variety of software and associated devices in identified Cloud environments. Diagnosing and troubleshooting both common and unusual system problems working closely with all members of IT and vendor support. Performing preventive maintenance on assigned systems, along with monitoring performance, improving and modifying monitoring systems, and responding proactivity to minimize disruption to services. The systems are monitored 24/7.
